Had SS100X traveled to any assembly plant complex, which it did not, it would most likely have gone to the Wixom plant, which was were the LCC that was split in two to become SS100X was built. In fact, it would most likely be in the Glass Plant in this complex where the stock LCC windshields would have been made.

In fact, when Def. Secretary Robert McNamara (who was the first non-family president of FMC before being tapped by JFK) heard of the assassination, the first thing he said was, “that was one of Ben Mills’ cars.” Ben Mills was another of the Whiz Kids who were hired by FMC after WWII to turn the company around. Ben Mills was the head of the Lincoln Division.
